Woodcraft Carves a Quality Apprenticeship Reputation -

Based in Kidderminster, Wyre Forest Woodcraft is one of the first small businesses to get a taste for the government’s sweetener grant and is looking to take on two new apprentices through Business Skills and Stourbridge College. The company has been building its reputation for quality and customer service since 1996 and is now run by three partners who started to perfect their craft as joinery apprentices – two of which are home grown.

Apprentices from colleges in the Black Country who work for Dudley Council were recognised in an awards ceremony hosted by Stourbridge College. The students, studying Carpentry & Joinery, Plumbing, Electrical, Plastering and Brickwork apprenticeships, attended the event along with guests including college partners, work placement mentors and Dudley Council Housing Services Managers, which recognises and rewards apprenticeship achievements throughout the year.
